Local
Plan Review
A key responsibility of the District Council is to make
decisions on planning issues including building on land
or changing its use. These planning decisions need to
be made in accordance with an up to date Local Plan.
Although
there is an existing Local Plan covering the District,
Adopted
Local Plan (January 1998), it is now out of date
and is currently being reviewed. The Local Plan can
have a big influence on what happens around you and
sets out the policies and proposals for development
and land use in the district. The Local Plan Review
(1996-2011) - First Deposit consultation gained 3000
comments, including 2500 objections and 500 of support.
We have considered your comments from the First Deposit
and amended the plan in response to these to create
the Local Plan Review (1996-2011) Revised Deposit.
The
Revised Deposit Plan can be viewed by visiting our One-Stop
Shops at:
Evesham Community Contact Centre, Droitwich Spa, and
Pershore
or by visiting a main public library, alternatively
click on the timetable below for more information on
each stage:
You
will find contact details under 'How
To Reach Us...'.
Unfortunately
the inset maps for both First and Revised Deposit &
the Urban Capacity study, are not available on this
web page but can be viewed at our One-Stop shops or
Libraries.
