I also represent the Council on certain outside bodies which are:-

No. 8 - Community Arts Centre

Worcestershire Local Access Forum  - a partnership made up of people with countryside interests including land owners and users, dealing with countryside access.  This is a County Council Countryside Service remit with responsibility to the Countryside Agency.

MY NON-COUNCIL PERSONAL ACTIVITIES  are -

Community Foundation for Worcestershire.  I am a non-executive Director of this charity (recently formed in Worcestershire).

Marches Rural Reinvestment Trust (MRRT) Ltd.  known as 'Impetus'. I am a non-executive Director of this Community Development Finance Institution which lends money to business and community enterprises (including village halls) in Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire.

Chairman of Bricklehampton, Elmley Castle & Netherton Village Hall - close to my heart, and for a number of years an important part of my life locally, and, for my sins I am also their licensee following the introduction of the new Licensing Act.  Although highly paper intensive at the outset, I have to say that, thanks to Graham Simms and his Licensing Team at Wychavon, this is working very well and is more convenient for hirers than having to go and get a Temporary Event Notice.

I have supported and advised a number of village halls and other groups, and I am always very happy to spend time supporting volunteers with their projects.  Feel free to contact me on the telephone number on the front page.  I am also pleased to meet any group in the District who are planning on building new or refurbishing their village hall and you are welcome to come and see ours.  Our most recent project has been to install Photovoltaic Panels on the roof, and Air to Air Source heating in the main hall and committee room.

Local Member Representative on the Bredon Hill Conservation Group (no longer the secretary).

Anyone wishing to view my Register of Interests, (which all councillors have to complete), can ask to see these at the Civic Centre. They are an honest and transparent account of my interests and may be updated from time to time as interests do change.  As such I cannot be held responsible if they are copied and published elsewhere without my consent where I have no means of updating them myself.

When I am not working, I farm, spend time with my grandchildren, make jewellery (as a business) and help my husband with his business.
